A WOODED DELIGHT

A historic home chalked full of charm situated in a wooded retreat minutes outside the city. This historic mid-century gem had incredible bones. The layout felt closed-off, the finishes were tired, but the spirit of the architecture was undeniable. Our goal was to breathe new life into the space while honoring its original character. We leaned into the home's architecture, preserving the lines and structure that made it special, while layering in warmth, texture, and thoughtful updates for modern living. What was once closed-off and dated is now open, bright, and full of soul—a true celebration of mid-century design, reimagined for today.

From reworking the kitchen to feel more integrated, to choosing materials that nod to the past while grounding the present, every detail was considered. What was once dated and dim is now bright, inviting, and full of soul—a true celebration of mid-century design, reimagined for modern living.
